Rivers has accepted the Lord’s charge to “Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them” (Eph 5:11). As a result, through the teaching module, Exposing World Systems in the Christian Church, the ministry teaches the biblical prohibitions against taking sacred oaths into secret societies such as the Order of Freemasonry, the Order of Eastern Stars, and Greek Letter Organizations. By making sacred oath covenants with the rudiments of this world which embrace Greek, Roman, Babylonian, or Egyptian deities, Christian believers are naively engaging in “under the radar idolatry,” which constitutes spiritual adultery in God’s eyes (Dt 32:16-17).

In 2014, the Lord directed Pastor Elaine and Elder Charlie Baldwin to relocate from Florence, SC to Charlotte, NC, where the Lord has declared that He will release revival. Amazed by God’s grace and led by the Holy Spirit, most of the ministry followed the Baldwins who faithfully relocated to Charlotte. Having started anew in Charlotte as Rivers of Living Water, NC, they are continuing in this journey of faith to accomplish God’s will as they are believing Him for a permanent church home. They minister Sunday Worship Service at 10:30 am, and Wednesday Bible Study at 6:30 pm.

Rivers has multiple ministries including marriage, men, women, youth, and dance, to name a few. The Church also shares God’s heart for the nations and especially for the people of Israel through steadfast prayers and petitions for peace in Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6). God has anointed Rivers with His spirit of adoption, which graces the ministry to receive and love people from every nation, tribe, people and tongue (Rev. 7:9).
